Is your church open?  Take the test.


There were 17 million searches for terms related to churches last month.  Terms such as "church home, find a church, Methodist Church, Baptist Church..."  Some of those searches found your church.  What did they see?

Here is how to find out.  Since Google is the dominant search engine, we are just reviewing what they have on your church.

  1. Go to Google and type in the name of your church, city and state.  You will see something that looks like this.
2. Click on the "Place page" link.  What do you see?
If your church just has basic information it is missing out.  Most people who land on this page will quickly go to another site, but your site can look like the one below.

Setting up the information on your site is pretty easy and is a good first step.  We have provided information on how to set up your site on this website.  Once your listing is completed the next challenge is how to get your church to show up at the top of the search results. 

 

You want to be there because most people will only look at the top few sites.  Google determines where your church shows up based on a number of factors including: Did your church complete its Google listing, does it have any reviews, where else is your church mentioned on the web and how close your church is to the person searching.  We have provided resources to help you through this process, or we can handle the entire process for you for a one time charge of $350.  If you would like more information let us know.
