People are turning to Google when they are looking for a new church home. Last month 17 million people turned to Google to find a church. They looked for terms such as "find a church, church home, visit a church, church, Methodist Church, Baptist Church, etc."
Google served up its Places page for most of these searches. Your church most likely has a listing, but it is probably not filled out. A uncompleted Places Page is like Sunday morning church service where no one show up. Visitors will quickly move onto another church site that has the information they are looking for.
