Church Growth


Most churches in America are not growing and the church overall is in decline.  What can we do about it?  I believe there is a lot that can be done but together we need to develop a plan. 

 

The message of the Gospel is as relevant today as it was 2,000 years ago.  People in your community are still hurting, still wanting to experience real love, still dealing with stress and still wonder if there is not more in life.

 

But God's message of love, forgiveness, peace and joy is not reaching most people.  If you took a survey of people who lived within ten minutes of your church you would find most don't even know what is going on inside your church. 

 

We can change that but we must develop a plan.  We must start to engage in a conversation with them so that they will know the depth of God's love for them.


What I've attempted to do is take all I know and have read about marketing and technology and apply it the church growth.  We've also developed inexpensive, practical resources that allow you to leverage today's technology to reach people in a way not possible a few years ago.

The last commandment that Jesus gave us was to go and make disciples of all nations.  Evangelism is changing and the old way of outreach is no longer as effective as it once was.

 

Just in the last ten years the way in which we do outreach has changed dramatically. The possibilities of reaching your community, and the world, are greater than anytime in the history of the mankind.

 

With a couple clicks you can connect with thousands of people.  With a system in place you and your members can connect to thousands of people instantly.  Think about it you can share the Gospel with more people in 10 minutes than Paul was able to reach in his lifetime!

 

To do this though you must have a plan and the systems in place.  It is my goal to take the 30+ years experience in marketing and technology and apply the lessons to help the church fulfill Jesus' great commission.

 

Church Growth: What is covered on this site?

 

  • How to develop a plan to reach people that come into your church during the year.  This could include VBS, summer camps, consignment sales, fall festivals, etc. You probably have more visitors than you realize and we need to develop a system to take them from one time visitor to church attendee to church member to committed follower of Jesus.
  • Evangelism through print: How to set up a mail campaign along with tools and resources that allow you to do it less expensively than ever before.  All available 24/7
  • Outreach through email:  An inexpensive and effective way to reach hundreds or thousands of people.
  • Church Growth through Facebook and other social media sites:  How to set them up and how to make them effective.
  • Evangelism through internet marketing:  In 2006 there were 2.7 billion searches per month.  In 2009 it is 31 billion searches per month.  If you are not showing up in the search engines then you are missing opportunities to touch people.

To make this site as effective as possible we have partnered with a number of very talented people.  People who wanted to take their knowledge and help you become more effective at connecting with your community.

We've also joined with some great companies to offer you services that we could not provide.  I have personally used the services of each company that we partnered with and evaluated them based on needs of most churches.  In some areas we provide multiple services because of the needs of different size churches.

We're not finished with the content on this site either.  It has been three years in the planning and months gathering up the current information, but we're just getting started.
